Set in 1940s Shanghai, "Kung Fu Hustle" follows the story of Sing (played by Stephen Chow), a wannabe gangster who tries to join the notorious Axe Gang. However, his ineptitude and clumsiness lead to a series of hilarious mishaps, eventually landing him in a rural village, where he must confront his nemesis, the notorious Landlord (played by Sammo Hung).
